Installatiion for application of diamond-like coatings
The unit has a working zone for applying of the coating that is 50 cm in diameter and 60 cm in height. The unit is equipped with 4 carbon, 2 arc discharge, and 4 gas sources.
Inside the vacuum chamber there are gas ionic sources designed for preliminary plasma cleaning of the parts being coated. Arc discharge sources of metal plasma serve for producing intermediate layers to ensure proper adhesion of the coating to the surface of articles. Several sources of carbon plasma are arranged in a way that ensures maximum homogeneity of the coating layer applied to articles of an irregular shape
